Early Screenshots of SPACE HULK: DEATHWING Revealed

After keeping their cards close to their chest for so long (save for one glorious teaser) Focus Home Interactive have finally revealed images of their upcoming SPACE HULK: DEATHWING first-person-shooter.

  1. I never knew about this until now, and it looks like it's going to be good, it's developed by the people who developed E.Y.E., and I love that game.
The only thing I don't get about the article, is that it mentions that one of the terminators in the fourth image carries a plasma cannon, maybe I'm just missing it, but I see 4 storm bolters, one assault cannon, and that's it for ranged weapons.

    2. I'll have to take your word with E.Y.E. but I have heard some decent things about it in the past. It'll also be interesting to see how they do given this game is going to be Occulus Rift compatible.

Unfortunately the two bits I commented upon are hard to tell thanks to the image sizes on the article, Take a look at the full version here -

The terminator behind the Librarian and the one wielding the assault cannon is apparently carrying a plasma cannon.

    3. I see now, I think the images are ordered incorrectly, because the image the article mentions: "The fourth image (below) " is the same image as your thumbnail, otherwise yes, that is definitely a plasma cannon. I'm also not sure why they wanted to bring in a plasma cannon into a space hulk, but maybe they just want the weapon variety.

E.Y.E. is arguably the best 40K shooter out there, and I mean that seriously, if you re-skin it it'll be a 40K game, it has Psychic Powers (some of which have their own perils), the different classes of armour that could easily be scout-power-terminator, it has the weapons, the bionics, and the cyber-punk feel that used to be really popular in 40K.

So what I'm saying is I think that they've got the perfect developer for the 40K universe.
