Still, this was only a theory and it has been revealed that a loyalist member of the Thousand Sons was actually Janus. Well, technically two, but that would be spoiling the story.Bellariushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02652722543111095280noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1831276194138109948.post-17190323264247809572017-06-14T02:53:36.689+01:002017-06-14T02:53:36.689+01:00IIRC, in The Emperor's Gift, by Aaron Dembski-...IIRC, in The Emperor's Gift, by Aaron Dembski-Bowden, the main character is looking at a monument to one of the GK founders, possibly Janus, and while the face is too worn to make out details, it has an epigraph wondering why brothers betray each other. Seems supportive of the Loken theory.

Only problem with Loken AND Garro, is that the Gk are supposed to be psykers, aren't they? Neither Loken nor Garro is.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1831276194138109948.post-62051654669091996332017-04-08T19:34:23.365+01:002017-04-08T19:34:23.365+01:00I just finished reading that and, personally, I th...I just finished reading that and, personally, I think it was a great outcome for the story as it went. Admittedly, that second option where it was multiple individuals was something discussed surrounding the Raven Guard for a while, where many wondered if the Chapter Master was an identity the Captains traded between them to give the sense of being more Codex adherent. It would be nice for that idea to be attempted somewhere in the lore.Bellariushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02652722543111095280noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1831276194138109948.post-11874413111060023002016-09-28T19:33:00.569+01:002016-09-28T19:33:00.569+01:00Thinking about this recently, I'm wondering if...Thinking about this recently, I'm wondering if it's possible Janus either never existed in the first place, or was initially several people pretending to be only one person, both of which I'd think would warrant Mortarion's reaction. As it is I think we're going to be disappointed when we finally get the answer, though I have to agree that if it's one of the Knights-Errant it'll most likely be Loken.grdaathttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00722216755745063033noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1831276194138109948.post-1989583893058185952016-09-25T09:29:51.344+01:002016-09-25T09:29:51.344+01:00Plus, in 'Grey Angel' Loken is named himse...Plus, in 'Grey Angel' Loken is named himself as Cerberus, thus it seems like he get used to this name. And third name in a row is a little bit too much. And considering the fact that every soul goes to Warp we still could see Tarik and Saul fighting alongside Loken on titans moon in Warp times. But the main problem is that grey knights completely missed the Siege of Terra. And symbolically Loken should participate in the end of the series as i believe. If there would be the end at last.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1831276194138109948.post-45565666721188950182016-09-25T09:07:38.251+01:002016-09-25T09:07:38.251+01:00Nice one, but i personally prefer that it would be...Nice one, but i personally prefer that it would be Omegon because Janus is freaking dead. And Loken should be alive. Tarvitz is dead for sure, because Loken was fighting zombies at Isstvan 3 for a long time and they would have met each other in that case.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
