Damn it all to hell, I honestly thought he was over this sort of thing by now, or at least scaling it back to have a bit more fun with the general concepts of the show as a whole.

Also, the bit with the Doctor making them flee, I am almost willing to forgive as it did make me chuckle thanks to the actors' reactions, but it is definitely overdone. If anything, it would be nice for once to have him go back to his old idea of the Doctor sticking to the shadows and relying less upon his reputation for once.Bellariushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02652722543111095280noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1831276194138109948.post-76222891520350734902017-06-07T11:40:25.171+01:002017-06-07T11:40:25.171+01:00I agree that this episode is very interesting and ...I agree that this episode is very interesting and makes for a decent setup, so it's a real shame that the episode that follows this is absolute dogshit.

Harsh language, but that's the only way that I can describe the complete and utter disgust I had after that episode had ended. It's a waste of what could have been a really good three part episode with decent villains because of how irredeemably stupid the second part is. It doesn't help either that the third part's not very good and Steven Moffat insisting on making everybody forget anything unusual happened is really pissing me off considering how often he's done it now and how many stories he's prevented/ruined because of it.

Also how the Doctor escaped with Missy was dumb. I'm getting really sick of the whole "villains are scared and run away because of how awesome the Doctor is" shtick that has been happening a lot since Moffat took over. It's worn and tired at this point and it really didn't make much sense in the circumstances that it was used here.grdaathttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00722216755745063033noreply@blogger.com
